The UK Quality Infrastructure Hub

Welcome to the UK Quality Infrastructure Hub

The UK Quality Infrastructure Hub supports collaboration between QI partners, government and stakeholders to share information on core aspects and activities of QI and its impact on the UK economy.

About the UK Quality Infrastructure Hub

The hub is built to support the delivery of the UK’s quality infrastructure. It will facilitate collaboration and support coordination between the UKQI institutions, quality infrastructure bodies and partners, and the government. Through information sharing, collaboration, and signposting, the hub will help shape a common understanding and articulation of UKQI and other related initiatives such as the Net Zero National Quality Infrastructure.

What is the UK Quality Infrastructure?

The UK Quality Infrastructure can support the development and delivery of government policy in many ways:

  • Providing a complement or an alternative to regulation.
  • Accelerating innovation and the adoption of new technologies through giving confidence to innovators and investors.
  • Ensuring that the UK can securely harness and exploit resilient digital technologies.
  • Supporting trade and trade policy and opening global markets by developing standards that embody globally agreed good practice and providing confidence that standards are met.
  • Enabling market and policy safeguards through scientific rigour and technical excellence.
  • Supporting the UK’s global influence through leading roles in global networks.
